In an industrial small town, in 1966. one firm is famous for it's good working, thanks to general manager's efforts. The whole area awaits prosperity and he gets more authority. But, it also causes envy and need to destroy such man. General manager's driver becomes the main hero of dramatic action. His lonely, consistent and reasonable admiration towards general manager, his honesty and goodness gets him into the situation which he doesn't want and can not adjust to.

U industrijskoj varoici, 1966. godine, jedno preduzeće se ističe dobrim poslovanjem zahvaljujući preduzimljivosti direktora. Čitav kraj se nada prosperitetu i on stiče sve veći autoritet. Ali, ugled ne donosi samo iskreno divljenje ljudi već izaziva i zavist i potrebu da se ospori i uniti takav čovek. Direktorov vozač postaje ia dramskih zbivanja. Njegovo usamljeno, dosledno i razlono divljenje prema direktoru, njegovo potenje i dobrota dovode ga u situacije kojima ne zna i ne eli da se prilagodi, niti da odustane.
